Meta Shoptalk


An immersive Meta experience designed for Shoptalk 2023 in Las Vegas, where 10,000+ retail change-makers come together every year to create the future of retail. The space includes a Meta Lounge for client meetings and the What’s Big in Retail experience. This project was created during my graphic design internship at MKG, an experiential design agency in New York City.

Client Objectives


Our Plan


Create an oasis-like environment for our guests to break away from the noise of Shoptalk. Immersed in a calm lounge space, attendees will be able to recharge, recenter, and find a much needed respite from the busy conference experience. Guests will be able to use the space to meet with clients, grab some coffee and cookies, and experience VR meditation using the new Quest Pro.

Graphics


Designing a variety of graphics ranging from table top signage, diecut vinyls, menus, and many more, while also following and enforcing brand guidelines throughout all graphic elements.

Final Activation


Final installation consisting of the Meta Lounge: two meeting rooms, lounge and cafe seating, beverages and barista bar, check-in area, VR room, AR activation, screening area, and the What’s Big in Retail experience: three oversized sculptures of a shopping cart, shipping boxes, and a shopping bag.
