Brand Redesign
A brand redesign for the Nelsonville Music Festival, a music and arts festival located in Nelsonville, Ohio. The new visual brand identity, including a redesigned logo and brand applications, aims to accurately capture the energy and meaning of the festival.
Research
Moodboard
Compiling an inspirational moodboard with imagery from the festival, an updated color palette, keywords and feelings, and a new overall visual style.
Hand + Digital Sketches
Using hand sketches to explore several different concepts that represent the Nelsonville Music Festival in a variety of ways. Designing multiple iterations of my main concept through vectorized sketches, while also experimenting with color application.




Final Logo
Capturing the fun and care-free energy of the festival through color, typography, and iconography. Incorporating key elements such as the simplified symbols of the Nelsonville bricks and the subtle guitar strings.
Applications
Applying the redesigned brand elements to a variety of touchpoints, including physical merchandise, animation, an oversized interactive tic-tac-toe game, and informational signage.
